Leland Yee: Huge Hypocrite?

California Senator, Leland Yee, was arrested Wednesday while attempting to traffic in firearms with an undercover FBI agent. Yee has connections with some shady characters in the underbelly of San Francisco's Chinatown that were also connected with the sting, which is the result of a five-year long federal investigation. Yee, who was trying to obtain campaign donations in exchange for the arms connection, has certainly placed himself in a difficult situation--as he is a known gun control advocate. According to the undercover agent, he was allegedly trying to secure weapons by obtaining them from a Muslim rebel group in the Philippines. 

Yee's feelings on gun trafficking? According to the federal complaint, he said, "People want to get whatever they want to get. Do I care? No, I don't care. People need certain things..." 

I guess he only feels that way unless you're trying to obtain firearms legally.
