Just as the Freedom Tower's 1,776 feet do now, the Twin Towers stood for something great, they represented an intangible truth: American Exceptionalism. Every life lost on that fateful day, every brave man and woman who endangered themselves to help, every family member who suffered, all will be remembered. We cannot let what happened on 9/11/2001 fade from memory. We cannot forget who did this to us.
