Obama: Acting "with or without" Congress?
President Barack Obama told Senate Democrats earlier today that he plans to use executive authority to act in 2014 when Congress stands in his way.
Issues he plans to tackle in 2014 include:
- raising the minimum wage
- an immigration overhaul
- education initiatives
- job creation
Is it the President's job to "create" jobs? Should we raise the minimum wage, or will it simply cost employers more, thereby leading to layoffs? What immigration or education changes would you like to see in 2014?
