Sam Adams. Born September 27th, 1722.
The name has many meanings to many people. From a huge beer company to one of our founding fathers and the founder of the Sons of Liberty. When the British government passed the Stamp Act of 1765, Adams became angry that the king would tax the colonies without offering them representation in the government. He began to organize protests against the king and the taxes. He formed a group of patriots called the Sons of Liberty. Heavily involved in the Boston Tea Party, we decided it was time to highlight this influential person and notice he is holding our sons of liberty mug too!

About 1776 United

We created 1776 United to evoke a sense of patriotism found in our forefathers. Most have forgotten to ask themselves not what their country can do for them, but what they can do for their country.

Our dream is to inspire a new wave of patriotism that might lead to the next Greatest Generation. We aim for the clothing we create to embody the many chapters of American history. Each shirt is a cotton reminder of who we are, where we live, and where we're going.
