The infamous Salem witch trials began during the spring of 1692, after a group of young girls in Salem Village, Massachusetts, claimed to be possessed by the devil and accused several local women of witchcraft. More than 200 people were accused of practicing witchcraft and 20 were executed. We highlighted William Stoughton’s gravestone in the middle as he was the Judge and in charge of the Salem Witch Trials. Surrounding his grave we placed some of those who were wrongfully hung during the trials. While other judges were ashamed of what they did after the trial, Stoughton not only defended his actions but seemed proud of them.

About 1776 United

We created 1776 United to evoke a sense of patriotism found in our forefathers. Most have forgotten to ask themselves not what their country can do for them, but what they can do for their country.

Our dream is to inspire a new wave of patriotism that might lead to the next Greatest Generation. We aim for the clothing we create to embody the many chapters of American history. Each shirt is a cotton reminder of who we are, where we live, and where we're going.
