Like the famous Join or Die political cartoon, the Unite or Die image is meant to have the same representation. It is a disjointed snake making up the colonies of the United States before its formation. The Unite or Die image is very rare and uncommon, and honestly we have had trouble finding more information regarding it. It was seen on John Holt's Masthead of his newspaper, a very bold image and trend for newspapers of the time. Whether it had anymore meaning other than a heading of a newspaper is up in the air. We loved the imagery though and had to use it on a tee.
